OK so after a few months wondering what to do with car I've settled on the stock 1zz and if we can get to 300bhp .....

Any help on this would be great

Clutch , need advice ?
Chargecooler yes/no ? Have intercooler fitted MWR position
600 injectors with MWR fuel rail and regulator ready to fit
T25 to T3 adapter for larger turbo is it needed ...?

Anything else please shout out

Try a rotrex?
It should give you the bhp without torque killing the gearbox.

I like charge coolers. The large eBay ones to the trick for little money.
You just need a quality radiator and pump.

But if I wanted to modify my turbo setup the charge cooler would give me 10-20 extra bhp over intercooler ??
AVT kit eBay 375 bhp £750 or are there alternatives ?, would rather new

Competition Clutch stage 2or 3 , not sure how difficult 3 would be to drive in traffic

And forgot haven't upgraded fuel pump yet walbro 255lph ?

I would try the cheap eBay charge cooler with fiat Cinquecento radiator and Bosch pump. If it doesn't do the job you haven't lost much as it's so cheap.

Sorry I've been running the whiffbitz turbo kit for about 4 years 176bhp 200lb ft torque now on second 1zz engine facelift 2004 55,000 miles , have looked at numerous swaps and forging of my engine with gearbox limiting things I can't seem to justify expense as I will have to pay for all the work to be done on the 1zz.

Whiffbitz told me the kit is good for about 270bhp , so would be happy at around that mark with parts I've got and will buy now

OK so bits ordered and some delivered

Fuel regulator
Fuel pump walbro 255lph
Charge cooler kit
Clutch CC Stage 3

Trying to get all parts in place and fitted to maximize performance for new map , any other suggestions ?

also thinking is it possible to have different maps so that I'm not running around on max boost all the time ?

What hardware would I need and would that need to run through the Apexi EMS ??
