When looking through a catalogue the other day i saw an inflatable luggage rack which is clamped using the doors of a car, do you think this is something which could be used on the '2 (on the rear bonnet) or would it melt?

Basically its just two hard wearing inflatable strips

just dont do it mate, any of these will bugger your paint, as i said on another post i did ages ago, i've been doing canoeing for years now and whenever i ve seen these, they have ended up with a slightly sandblasted band from all the dirt that collected on the front edge of the strip, they're just not worth it  s:? :? s:?

plus it could melt  s:( :( s:(

Fair enough - just spotted it and thought it might have been a good solution.
