Barbarian Racing braces

Anyone have experience or opinions on these? In particular the centre brace which is aluminium so should be lighter than the normally steel alternatives.

They're available on EBay which isn't exactly the highest praise for a product but look decently made.

Im sure it cant be as stiff as a steel one, but if alloy is stiff enough for a lotus chassis its stiff enough for me.I did buy one, appear nicely made and yeah much lighter im sure than a steel equivalent. Just decided to keep my mr2 totally standard so sold it on..
