My tears are Dunlop sp 9000 225 40 R16 which gives a wheel OD of 23.08"

Current fronts Avon 195 50r15 wheel OD 22.7"
To get closer to even I'll need to go to 185 55 r15 wheel OD 23.01"

Anyone have a view

Can't buy the Dunlop's anymore. Rears are too new to change.

Gaz mr-s

There's no relevance in the rolling diameter front - to - rear, as far as I'm aware.

You maybe already know, but neither your front or rear are original sizes. If you bought it with the rears on the chances are the previous owner went for the 225 width & 'wrong' profile because it was cheaper.

Perhaps pick a front tyre that you like that you can get the matching rears for when you're ready....?

Suggestion.....look up tests of the Hankook Ventus Prime k125
