I've seen a very similar colour on a mk2.
Looked fabulous.

My old 944 Turbo in Baltic blue (rip baby) is still my favourite automotive colour :)

Most of the pics on google don't do it justice;

how about vauxhall "metro blue", it's a grey/blue similar to the 944 colour above. We had our corsa made in that colour cos it's not a colour you see on the road often.

Atlanta Blue metallic! Had it on my old Z3... got alot of attention for good reasons I think 😅
