Hi guys, juts getting sorted for my emu install.

Reading up on the wideband, the ecu has an lsu 4.9 or 4.2 controllee built in and my loom has a connection for this.

Now my question is this will mean I have no output for my gauge, as it will now be plugged into the ecu, rather than using 0-5v like most Ecu's.

I've looked into splicing the wideband signal and making splitter loom, but I've also read this will interfere with the signal.

Surely my only choice can't be to run 2x wideband's?

My wideband is an Aeg, not sure if I can use canbus for input.

I've gone wideband and ecu blind from looking at it now, hence the queen here.

Cheers

Gary

You can use the emu app to monitor all the parameters live. It can even log.
Shouldn't need a separate wideband gauge at all. Shouldn't even need to monitor it as the ecu failsafe will kick in at whatever value you specify.
And you won't need it for tunning as you've got the laptop right there displaying everything as well.
Sell it and buy a nice new 4.9

Cheers Scotte, I've no idea why I didn't think off that I'd just been playing with the app yesterday. 😂

No worries mate here to help.
Hope its a bit more user friendly than it was.
Not tried it since last year I don't think.

Chasing up on all these EMU topics just to mention that the onboard controller seems to cause issues with LSU4.9 sensors.
So either run your own controller with output to ecu or use a 4.2 sensor
...neutiquam erro.
