Surprising fix for a rattle

Just a note to check things.
I've been under my car quite a bit lately, sorting out the rust etc before the MOT next month. While I was under there, I noticed that my rear engine mount was badly perished.
I did the Tiger Seal fix on it last weekend, and the annoying rattle, that I thought was the roof near my head, seems to have disappeared.
Just shows how sounds can travel around the car...
