So I'd like to wire in the charge cooler pump with a relay and fuse.

I understand that I should be fine with a 5a relay with 5a fuse, but where I'm struggling is the way to make it enclosed and relatively water tight in a compact way.

Does anyone have any places where they source single relay boxes possibly with a slot for a fuse so that I don't have to an inline one? Most searches are coming back with quite large 4 relay affairs :-/

So I just had an idea of possibly utilising the fan no.2 or 3 relays in the frunk fuse box.. .but these are not "normal" relay sockets are they? Thought I was onto a winner there .. :-/

ok.. so.. now all I have to do is figure out how a 4 pin relay works and IF it gets switched live feed.. I'm guessing this will be related to the gubbins somewhere else telling it to turn the AC on/off..  but if it does get a live when the car is on, it's just a matter of hooking the pump into the already handily supplied Fan no.2 cable...  OR I could stop over thinking this and just wire into a switched live somewhere and wrap it all up in insulating tape and be done with it..

crap.. I can't turn my car on to "test" what's live when the car is on.. any volunteers out there without AC willing to provide some info?? :-)

Wire into a good hefty switched live, put a fuse in the line and off you go!

Yeah I've been down a right rabbit hole with this one.. had dreams of somehow dropping in the AC relays for Fans 2/3 in the Frunk fuse box and somehow getting power to the number to fan cable and just plugging into that.. however I think in-line fuse is probably best/easier!
