Hi all. I have just cubic print some of my interior. I just wanna share with you guys and see if any of you are interested in cubic printing

So what is CUBIC PRINTING?

CUBIC PRINTING is a decoration technology that uses a specialised film printed with a range of natural and abstract patterns to decorate complex shaped plastics, metals and other materials.   The specialised film is floated on the water's surface and transfer of the pattern is effected by the pressure of the water. With this method, even decoration of complex three dimensional shapes is possible. More than was ever before, CUBIC PRINTING opens up a wider variety of shapes and materials to high quality surface decoration.

Cubic Printing Prcess

The pattern or design is gravure-printed on a water soluble film.

The film is specially treated to activate or "re-wet" the inks.

The film is floated out onto the water and the product (material) to be decorated is pressed down into the film to effect the transfer.

Having fulfilled its role as the medium for the print transfer, the film is washed away.

Water which has adhered to the product (material) during transfer is dried off.

A transparent top coat is applied to protect the printed surface.

Various finishes are available, these are some of them:-

AFAIK, Europe does not have this Japanese Technology yet. It comes with a 7 year warranty.

What can't be cubic printed?

1- Object with rough surfaces.

If there's any interest in this. I may offer a group buy on this once I'm done with my current GB.

Cheers!
