Demon tweeks do have the 16, just found it.

Yes they are all a 40 profile, really doesnt matter. Its certainly better doing that than having mis match tyres on a sports car.

If oem sizing is that important to you then go for the nankangs all round.

Most of what I've read prior to this thread talks about ensuring the same brand across axles. I don't understand why 40 is fine though when oe spec is 45.

Go with the same tyre all round then.

The 40 will be fine as its so very close to oem. I bet 90% of the cars on here run a 195/50/15 up front because its alot more accessable to get than the oem 185.

Its much more important to keep the same tyres all round than worry about a slight difference in profile here or there.

Okay I've taken your advice and ordered up Toyos for the rear.

They're a good tyre, and they are soooo cheap aswell. My brother runs them on his mK2 mr2 on road and track and is very happy with them.

4 Toyo TR1s fitted this morning.

Front: 185/55/15
Rear: 215/40/16

Worked out £257 as they had a small promo on fitting

front 185/55/15
rear 215/45/16
