Title: Toyota Security (module) RS3200
Post by: Petrus on September 11, 2023, 14:54
The door locks on my car operate simultaneously on the remote buttons ánd the thing locks itself automatically every now and then.
The logic says that I thus must have a version of the RS3200 fitted.

Cannot find it though  :-[

Where can/should it sit?

Perhaps you have an incorrect setting.

Thank you but it is not that system: It is a more simple version of the RS3200 Toyota 08190-33853.
Should be a 7 x 7 cm black box with three white plugs sómwehere under the dash, to the tunnel, to the side panel near the firewall. Will literally shine some more light on it.

If I can´t find it will keep on living with it as it is.  It very rarely lock itself as it sees fit. It is now only a remote key for the door locks. It is more that it galls me that I can´t find it as it is good enough really. The upside of the rest not working means it cannot go off without reason either.

Look behind the side panel in the driver's side footwell?

Better late than never  :-*

Feed back:
Found it and turned it even further down, in effect off.
