Title: Visor Plugs - not for Winter!
Post by: Comer on November 6, 2003, 15:51
Just a little warning for those of us who have removed their sun visors and replaced them with visor plugs.  The little sun we get at this time of year is pretty low in the sky and has really impaired my vision whilst I've been out on the road.  I'm replacing my visors until next year and I recommend that others do so too.

Being so tall I can lift my head slightly and use the roof as a visor, but I see your point!   s:lol:  s:lol:

I'm 6ft (not quite the Sean / Buster height) so alternatively I could go for a cushion or set my seat properly!!!

Its a very good point. I replaced mine a month or so ago (i mean put my sun visors back on). As im not putting the roof down that much anymore, i dont find the sun visors that much of a problem at the moment, but come spring, the plugs will go back in for easy roof down action!   s:D :D s:D

I put mine on when I put the hardtop on.  The visors don't get in the way when you've got the HT on, and suddently become really useful.
