Well it'll probably make the engine run rich all the time... which as well as dropping your fuel economy probably has other detrimental downsides (more work for the cats for one).

The O2 sensors will just override the change by reducing the amount of fuel being injected (which is why Martin needs the 5th injector controlled by the Dastek).

Net result, more chance of throwing a MAF failure CEL and absolutely no gain in power.
