This question is aimed at those who're a bit in-the-know with regards to the TTE turbo, and other related stuff.
Suppose the initial power output of the turbo is 180bhp, what (at a completely rough estimate) do you think the difference would be in the 0-60 time?
Didn't Evo clock it at about 7.5ish for the standard?
What d'ya reckon for the standard + TTE turbo?
(go on, have a guess, it won't be legally binding)
I got 5.something, when I was playing with the CarTest (http://www.cartestsoftware.com/cartest4.5/)
That was for 0-100kmh though (=62.5mph)

Says it'll knock 0.6sec off.
In my guess you'd knock easily a second off.
I'm sure Autocar, quoting TTE, quoted 5.9?
So... is the TTE turbo going to be release soon or what?

There's now a Windows/Java Runtime version of the Car Test software called Car Test 2000. But there's a $35 price to pay for the full car database.

Yeah, tried the demo of it, but it failed to run on my system s:? :? s:?
It installed Java Runtime V1.5 (I guess you need to remove MS JVM first) and then the demo applet installed.
The demo version has a number of motorbikes to test the software against, amazing the speed that can get to in just 10s!!!
Modelling the power and gear ratio's must be quite a time consuming task just to work out the optimum shift points - I really need to quit work so I can concentrate on this past time... s:wink:  s:wink:

Last issue of EVO I read quoted 7.2secs.
I don't think I've ever known a car with so many different 0-60 times being quoted. I've seen the standard 2 quoted anything from 7.0 up to 8.1 s:? :? s:?
With the TTE, you go zero-to-broke in 2.5 seconds flat.
