Title: Jetex Filter
Post by: Anonymous on July 10, 2003, 15:05
Been offered a Jetex filter in lieu of a K&N filter.

Anyone had any previous with them?  Same drop in, simple replacement, probably offering no power difference at all, but hopefully with the similar sound difference that K&N offer.

More importantly, what's the filtering capability like?

Right folks, cards on the table time please!

Tried to "drop" it in earlier.

Unclipped the two large gold coloured fixings to the rear of the box.  Then unscrewed the long silver bolt which was holding the large round clip round the intake tube.

What happens next?

Don't want to start forcing things open in my mechanical ignorance.

Thought is would be easy to access the existing filter to simply swap the two over, as I plan to do before every service etc.
