The 2zz in the mr2 now has got +140k miles on it and looks like this..

The lower milage engine is BLACK!!! Loads of sludge in there too!! s:shock: :shock: s:shock:
First thing on the rebuild is to get those valve seals changed over. + Is this looking like a poorly serviced engine?
Lift bolts looking a bit sorry for them selves but atleast these came out in one piece s:bounce: :bounce: s:bounce:
What have other people found under the lid on there engines? milage?
Any oil change and oil type histories?

No unfortunately not. I did drain it last night and im still unsure as to what came out, it was ether bitumen or very old oil s:crazyeyes: :crazyeyes: s:crazyeyes:
