Title: Yaris front shocks on an mr2
Post by: Sonner34 on November 2, 2013, 07:17
Okay so it was established long ago that the Yaris uses the same front control arm as the mr2

But I haven't found anyone mentioning if that then extends to the hub being the same meaning that ultimately the front shocks though different rates and maybe different lengths could potentially fit?

If anyone has any technical specs on the front shocks of either the mr2 or the Yaris, perhaps if u have a set of front shocks in the garage then let's get the dimension measured up so we can find out

Just semantics, but surely if they're different lengths and different rating then they don't fit?

On Toyidiy you can search and companies the parts catalogue to find which cats use the same parts. I don't believe I have witnessed anyone using the Yaris wishbones on the 2 yet, though I'm obviously interested if they have
