Title: Wideband simulated into ecu.
Post by: stupink on February 23, 2014, 21:24
I'm about to weld in the bungs onto the exhaust and was going to just put one before cat one after.
My cars turboed, running EM Ultimate.

My understanding is that it wont cause any problems if i run the original post cat-ECU, then pre-CAT as my wideband, using a simulated narrowband output fed to both ECU banks.

My questions,
A. does physically wiring the two banks together like that not cause any issues?
B. I assume this brings on the ECU light? but if i do the "dead heater" repair fix on both banks it will get rid?

or is there a better configuration?

A) - No problems at all.
B) - Correct.

Mine did 60K+ with that setup before I sold it.

Thanks.. perfect...
So many little things to do, its no wonder most people buy turbo kits rather than doing it themselves.
