Title: 2001 Mk3 A/con filter
Post by: Roymundo on July 15, 2015, 19:39
Did Toyota install a filter/pollen filter to the air con system on a 2001 mk3 MR2, if so can someone assist and inform its location. I've had a look inside the cabin around the steering wheel but nothing. With it been a convertible can't see why one would be fitted, but you never know. Thanks....Roy

Not sure Roy as mine doesn't have AC but on my other Toyotas it's located behind the glove box, passenger side. Drop lid down and pinch sides in, it should drop leaving the filter exposed behind in a slot.

Thanks Lurch, glove box removed however filter not exposed. Some plastic Denso containers but they appear to be a permanent fixture. Unless anyone knows different. Cheers
