Picked up "kermit" yesterday. It's a one owner y2k with 37000 miles and full history and my first mr2.
Very pleased so far..looking forward to a long ownership.

Wow!! ...that's a beautiful looking beast.
She's known as kermit by her former owner so I'll have to think of another name for her?.
Love the forum, very informative and I look forward to meeting up with fellow enthusiasts at some point in the future.

Don't think Danny would mind having 2 kermits, I suspect we have a few bananas also.

Welcome along and congratulations on two great decisions buying the car and joining the club

Car looks very tidy good mileage for age, notice it's got aftermarket wheels worth checking if tyres are staggered rears should be wider than fronts
Keep an eye on oil levels in the early days for peace of mind

Take some time to read through the posts for newbies at the top of the welcome section

Search function is your friend too and don't be afraid to ask we are a friendly bunch and there is a wealth of information on these great little cars all we ask is that you abide by our rules, please have a read through

The tyres are staggered as per the original wheels,  thanks for the welcoming words and forum advice...I spent the last week sifting through the forum before buying my mr2. I've found the posts very informative.

the green MR2s are really growing on me. It stands out and has a nice sheen to it
