Have been thinking of trying out Red Stuff pads when my next change is due mainly so I have less yellow on my car s;) ;) s;)
Thing is they only list them on the rear for the zzw30.
It is the same pad design as the MK2 sw20.
Looking at yellow stuff the front pad shows the same design as the yaris which they do a red stuff for but nothing for our roadsters.
Can't understand why.
Anybody confirm that I am correct and we have yaris compatible front pads?
Sorry cant help, never used the redstuff. Thought about pagid pads?
why red and not greens?
Because red is my colour s;) ;) s;)
They are between green and yellow in the EBC line up.
How about a different colour on each wheel?
(I'm not helping am I ?).

Not Simon you're not.
Buy yellow, hammerite smooth in red, and ill put them on for you.
You see Scotte, that' s what friends do!
So I think what you are trying to acknowledge here is that yellow is what you need, but you are in denial. s;-) ;-) s;-)
+1 on the pagid. Not too pricey and pretty good stopping power. Mine have only lasted about 2 years (20k) though.
But they're not RED!!!!!
Use of CAPITALS is said to mean one is raising ones voice.
Multiple exclamation marks is an indicator of hypertension.
I suggest you are suffering from ORD ( capital usage acceptable as abbreviation of obsessive red disorder)
Like OCD but very specific and only applies to MR2 related subjects.
The dislike of yellow is of course just a natural reaction s:wink:  s:wink:

Quite right too.

Pagid are ok pads but far to much dust, I am constantly cleaning my newly powdered coated wheels - no difference between front and back both dusty and its black.

That might depend upon where you are starting from! s:lol:  s:lol:
anyway.. back on topic.. to answer your question 1.5 T Sport fronts are the same, rears are different. This is the only model i have checked as it has roughly the same range of year of manufacture. If you know of another model that may have the same rears check on brakparts.co.uk they have a great catalogue. See fronts as below:

Thanks that's what I thought.
So we have yaris pattern front and SW20 pattern rears.
Red stuff here we come.
Awesome, surely yaris pads come with less of a premium than MR2 pads s:P :P s:P

they are yaris
t sport pads. build numbers are probably similar.
EBC parts numbers are the same across the yaris range.
Prius too.
Might open up some options.
Not sure if it will make things any cheaper.
