Just got my second MR2, had the first one a little over 10 years ago!

Little update.

Seat was a little worn, so treated the leather.

Quite happy with the results.

Next up, onto the gear shift. I like a quick shift but don't like the knob down on the floor. So I cut up a couple of gear sticks and stuck them back together a little longer. It now has about 3-4mm less travel than stock, but the knob is up near my hand. The stock boot is just about as high as it can go.

At least someone is pleased to see me in the morning  s:D :D s:D

Did some welding, not pretty but I'm new at this!

After a little more cutting, test fitting and welding.

Not a bad way to spend a Saturday, I've now a straight though 2.5" system which is a little quieter than I expected but I'm very pleased with the results  s:D :D s:D

With the new exhaust working quite well I dropped it off and painted it black.

Wrapped it up

and stuck it back on.
