Title: Suspension Arm Nuts
Post by: lukeydoo on February 19, 2019, 08:12
I was following a guide to removing the engine which did not detail that the actual nuts in the suspension should not be loosened, only the bolts, and loosed the nuts due to ease of access. Does this mean I have effectively ruined those arms, or will new nuts suffice?

Can you be a bit more specific Luke? Which arms do you mean? The ones with the cam plate to the subframe?

That instruction has more to do with making sure the bolts come loose from the bushing sleeves, I believe.

Anyway, so long as everything has come loose and nothing is rounded off, you should be fine.
