Title: Back again, again - A roadster for the track
Post by: Nick@62 on October 16, 2019, 18:46
Hi team. On the 4th corner now and have found an issue with one of the rear steering knuckle bearing bush seals. At first glance all seams okay, but on closer inspection I've found that the rubber dust seal is split. I've searched the net to see if it's possible to buy the rubber seals separately but have drawn a blank and assume that these seals are important. Anyone any suggestions on the way forward? I see you can get hold of bearing bushes that fit, albeit using a 14mm bolt, but I'm loathed to go down that road if there is an alternative. Two photos attached to show the knuckle, and the split seal. PS - someone please explain to me how to load the photos full size rather than thumbnails that you need to click on to expand.

You can use TAB-002Z bushings here, but will need bigger bolt, or small steel cylinder made to make the old bolt fit.
