Title: Battery Relocation - Turbo Preparations
Post by: MannyUK on June 6, 2020, 10:11
I am going to be moving the battery to the frunk and attaching it to the tub inside.  In preparations to get a turbo on my 2zz.  I need some room...

I have gone for a lighter Odessey battery PC680.

I will be installing a 300a fuse next to the battery, I wonder if that is too big.  Does anyone have any experience here?

There are different types of fuses,
if you go for a slow blow (or slow acting) fuse then 300Amp should be fine.
If you go for a fast blow then you need a 600Amp. The PC680 can deliver 540Amp during cranking for 5 seconds.
