Following "Fin's" thread (https://www.mr2roc.org/forum/index.php?topic=72177.0) regarding his purchase of a flip key for the MR2, I though I'd have a go and came across this one on eBay, these come with two or three buttons, I went for the three button one in case I plan another mod with the third button

It comes with instructions on setting the alarm and also the transponder, so I know what I'll be doing tomorrow, if I can get it to work then I'll pop over to a local key cutting place
