Hi my 2006 roadster has a leak in one of the small pipes running from the steering shaft to the rack. I am sourcing replacements for these.
I am assuming that the system is totally empty as there isn't any liquid visible in the reservoir. The car was driving perfectly up until I had to return home yesterday when the steering was extremely heavy. luckily I was less than a mle from home, so no damage to the pump I expect.
Toyota want £45 for one litre!! I do no believe that any alternative fluid can be used. What is the capacity of the system? Is one litre enough?
There has been some previous discussion on this;

I have Ravenol in one of my cars and I am not aware of any problems from this a few years on.
I believe that 1 ltr would be enough to fill it but you may want more if you are going to flush it out before refilling.
I use Ravenol as well. No problems.
This is also correct, & cheaper than Ravenol.

My reading of Ravenol mentions Toyota in their specification and is priced at £14.95/L. + Delivery.

The Mannol is offered at £37.99/2L + Delivery at £5.70.
I bought 2x 1 L of Ravenol, I believe one L would refill, can't be certain as I flushed the dirty reside from the system and took the pump out of the casing to clean that, I then refilled and used all of the two bottles.
Otherwise TCB I believe offer Toyota fluid, probably at less than Toyota price, but you will be paying also for delivery.

The price in my link is £32.29 for 2l. Postage is free.
The Ravenol is over £21 for 1 litre.

Sorry, I misread the Mannol ad.
It is £37.99 and postage is free on my opening the link you posted ( the £5.70 is a discount for something or other, and I did got to Specsave!!
But, the base price is lower in your reading of your link at £32.99/ 2L .
The Ravenol is at £14.95 / 1L on my reading of my link.
I am based in Warwickshire that is very much in the Midlands!
Someone will know why that is/ could be, I don't!

+ £6.75 postage
Needs to be EHSF (electro hydraulic)
Total Fluide DA is also a cheaper option, changed my old car out (and the pipes) back in ~2017 and no issues since. https://www.mr2roc.org/index.php?topic=66735.0

So,
£36.65 for Ravenol for me.£42.00 or £48.75 for you.
£37.99 for Mannol for me. £32.99 for you
Not so much difference in what we spend on our cars but Really don't know why there is that difference in pricing for the same products but viewed on a website from a different region.

The ebay price is UK wide, unless a shipper has different rates for northern Scotland or the Isles.
Another option common in the US is Nissan 999MP-EPSF00P. Don't know cost or availability on your side of the pond, but it works fine.
I decided to just get the Toyota fluid from the dealer as it will be available from tomorrow with the pipes I ordered. These were the two thinner pipes which bolt directly onto the rack. One was the source of the leak and the other looked a bit crusty.
I couldn't find any after-market replacements and a repair by a local hydraulics company would have been approx £50. They would have cobbled flexis between the original ends. Toyota want £71 and they come with new o-rings.
For those who want to know Toyota confirmed that the system capacity is 0.6 litre.
Check the PS rack mountings are not cracked...
