I'm thinking about fitting an aftermarket heated seat system. One thing I'm not sure how to tackle is putting the seatback covers bank on. My oem PFL leather seats seem to have zips at the base with no slider. I'm sure I can undo them just by pulling them apart, but how do you do them back up again?

The covers are held in place by clips that fastened to the springs at the sides and back. The front is tucked into the lip of the seat base. It is a simple process. I have taken a few apart to wash the covers etc.

Oh perfect, they look great @Joesson

@J88TEO I'd read about the hog rings and seen a video on YouTube about either using the pliers and rings. A lot of people seem to use cable ties instead. The weird zips I'd never come across before. The other style of attachment with fabric rolled over plastic clips seems ok too.

I wonder if the zips aren't on the facelift seats because they don't get talked about.

:) just for refence and a thought for anyone who wants   to do this without themselves getting involved  and paying for someone to this is around the £500 mark.

Thanks @Topdownman, I had read that one. The search facility for this forum is relatively good!

The slider is there...I took mine off that way.

Has anyone added to/replaced the cushion foam?
