Where can I buy a new rear subframe? Will the fitting wreck my set up which is Fast B Road?

I believe our affiliate TCB Perfornance parts offer new rear subframes.
Remember there is a difference between the PFL and the FL frame, I understand one fits the other but not the other way around!
Someone will advise better on that, they will also mention that you will need a geo set up afterwards to realign the back end with the front.

I have a new sub frame from TCB that I don't need.
Just want to recoup the cost.

Hi, is it prefacelift and how much do you want for it?

J88TEO

It's a FL subframebut can be used on PFL cars.
I also have a PFL one - used but in excellent condition - will take photo tonight and post here.

Thanks for the photos but I have bought a new one.The garage I go to did not like the idea of fitting a secondhand part and I cannot do it myself.I'll bet the bolts are pigs.

Yes they are! Mostly on the arms though. I'd definitely recommend you treat the new one before fitting or the same will happen, especially around the cat. I used loads of Dinitrol rust protection inside and out of mine to prevent it from re-occurring too quickly. 3 years later it still looks good as new.

Most of the subframes I have had problems with has been the OSR toe adjustment bolt seized to the sleeve in the bush. I have had to cut the bolts off before, Replace with polybush and replace the rather expensive adjuster bolt.
Hopefully this one doesn't have the same problem.

The garage fitting my new subframe have just rung me to say that they are having problems as the chassis threads have stripped and they will have to retap and find some oversized bolts. My question is has this happened to anyone else or was it some clown with a turned up hammer wrench?

J88TEO

Only happens if they use brute force and the bolts were seized.
Soaking with penetrating oil like PlusGas and gentle unbolting would have prevented this.
