That wasn't hard   s:wink:  s:wink:   Maybe I am a bit more sensitive about Road accidents - I work where I have to call out ambulances and in the worse cases undertakers to attend them to collect what remains, it can happen all too easily. Its up to you and sorry if I appeared harse.

There are a few tyre centres around who can repair a nail type puncture even if it is not in the centre area of the tread. Its more expensive, as it has to be heat cured, but it is effective.
Chavs did one of the tyres on my hatchback Friday night with a nail right on the edge of the tread. Disaster, tyre is only 3 weeks old and cost £140 each. Took the tyre to a specialist who removed it and gave it a full inspection before declaring it repairable.
Have a search around, but I wouldn't drive on it, could be a bigger disaster!

For a pre 03 OEM rear, yes.

<edit> and presumably a T1R, unless you had T1S on before </edit>

Went on the mytyres website, what is the difference between:
PROXES T1-R 205/50 R15 89V RF Rim-protection & PROXES CF 1 205/50 R15 86H Rim-protection

One is cheaper than the other?
