Redline MT90  s:) :) s:)

Isn't the transmission itself the same as the manual one?
Sure you can live without 500hp, but it\'s languishing.

The SMT hydraulic fluid is proprietary Toyota and also very expensive. However I would not risk using anything else for the SMT.

Gearbox oil specification is in your Owner's Manual. Many people (at least for the MR2 mk2) use Redline MT90 as Tem writes.

Good catch, I assumed he meant the gearbox oil...

I had that in my Mk1 MR2 and it made wonders. Now I have it in my Roadster (as the maintenance program said to change it anyway) and it made some difference. Nothing major. However I'm hopping that it will keep things in better shape than "normal" oils.
