Re-setting the ECU

Sorry if this is the type of question you would expect from a numpty guys    s:oops: :oops: s:oops:   but....

Is there any other way of resetting the ECU other than disconnecting the battery (Re: Slacey's cleaning your MAF thread).

Wouldn't fancy losing the stereo codes etc......    s:( :( s:(    s:( :( s:(    s:( :( s:(

Stereo codes... they'd be the special ones that you didn't know existed and can't find, only once you need 'em.

You could reset it if you had the software...  You could do a lot of other stuff as well   s:wink: :wink: s:wink:

pull the ecu fuse. that will do it.
