Cover for Front Towing Eye

Anyone having problems with the cover staying in place or is it me. I replace it on a regular basis as it keeps popping out on the bumpy roads here in Essex. But for the life of me do you think I can pull it out once fitted but the crap roads seem to knock it loose easily enough. Any suggestions to holding it in place other than a plate behind and screws?

Does anyone else suffer this, just my luck to lose the cover one of these days?
