oil burning

My 1993 mr2 gti is burning quite a bit of oil, but there is no blue smoke. can anyone suggest an additive i can use which will slow this oil burning down?

You might need to try sites for the Mk1&Mk2 MR2 as this is mainly Mk3 stuff.
