ok i got all my power back but still the white smoke....

a mechanic told me that he experienced working on a car that had a little bit of oil on the spark plugs and what was caused my the rings pushing out oil therefore causing white smoke

could this be true?.....

So has your mechanic done anything else to the car?

It could be true, but considering the amount of evidence we've gained over the years I think we know what the truth is. Safe yourself any more ballache and get a new 1ZZ in now, or go see LR for the 2ZZ.

other than replacing a fuel injector, he hasnt done anythign else.

He always fixes what ever is wrong with my car, but for the mean time he told me to use RISLONE? RISLOM? i dont know exactly how to spell it but he said its at the auto stores and it should help out a little bit with my rings in the mean time, i take it to get fixed

Listening to the video it sounds to me like it is only running on three cylinders, if as you say the compression is down then all you are doing is delaying the inevitable by replacing clogged up injectors and spark plugs, once an engine becomes worn I'm afraid all the magic fluid or additives in the world won't bring it back.
Try removing the oil filler cap while the engine is idling and if it is pushing out smoke like a steam train then you have got excess back pressure caused by worn piston rings & cylinders.
DON'T FORGET TO PUT THE OIL CAP BACK ON!

I'm speaking from a position of pure ignorance here but I'll say it anyway.

Is that definitely oil smoke? There looks to be an awful lot and it looks very white, could it be steam from a blown head gasket?

yeah well my mechanic did say 1 injector had a higher compression, not by much, but still higher than the rest....

and the white smoke is definately white....not steam, as i thought it was before....

i did put a head gasket sealer additive because there was a leak from oil on the corner but now that i put that additive it sealed it up for the mean time....and no more leak...

but as i ran it on idle and allowed the thermostat to open up to normal, i have opened up the oil cap and did see a bit of smoke coming out nothing major but maybe a bad sign like Les said....

get this mechanic of yours to do a sniffer test, it'll confirm wether the head gasket has gone or not.
