Hi,

I'm no expert, but my father has been in the car trade for over 25 years now, he works for Land Rover as a General Manager and they are always having to fit new engines.

Value wise, it will have little effect, all the other parts of the car are three years old, thus the car will be valued as such, in fact the new block could possibly effect the vaue downwards.

but on a more positive note, having a new engine, which is the heart of the car means that if you intend to keep the car, you have Thousands more miles of useful lfe left.

Therefore IMHO, value is negligible but benefit to you as the owner is excellent.

Cheers
