Hi folks.Got a noise coming from the front of the car, which sounds like a flat tyre. All four are at correct pressure,so i know it's not that. It doesn't matter what speed i'm doing, this noise is constant.Could it be wheel bearings perhaps? Just wondered if anyone could help me out? Thanks a lot.

Whining noise or a squealing noise?

First thing to check is the brake pads, they have springs attached which "squeal" when your pads are down enough to need changing.
Cute & fluffy animals were definitely hurt during the production of this post, there're plenty more where they came from

its more than likely either that or a warped disc. strip the brakes down and rebuild them, should only take about 30mins a side at most
