I've used the search and not found a thread with this topic, so please forgive me if I've doubled up somewhere.

1) Which sports cat are you running?
2) Hows the MOT with it?

I've been looking around and found this from Jetex

What are people running and what do you think of it?

i've personally never heard of that and at £667 i would avoid it unless someone else wants to step in and provide a good reason not to.

http://www.ppeengineering.com/mr21.htm manufacture fairly well respected airflow mods, chrisGB has the manifold/cat combo if i recall correctly and has reached a pretty impressive power output. it might be quite a loud setup though, what else are you running?

their high flow cats are priced at $475/$485, which even at the current exchange rate & with import tax etc added on would be considerably less than the one you have linked to

Thanks for the reply, I've got a SP Exhaust 63mm bore ( I think ), I want to replace the SP (straight through) Downpipe from the Stock manifold.

In cost terms, the PPE replacement cat is probably the cheapest option. I have that cat on a different manifold and have not had MOT issues in the two years it has been tested.

I'm running a Che header with sports cat and quad pipes fitted by EXHAUSTS UK.
The sports cat cost £175 and the only issue I had was with a CEL showing, this disappeared by fitting an extender to the after cat sensor which cured the problem, I haven't had an MOT since it was fitted but I can't see a problem  s:wink:  s:wink:
