Suspension clonking?

As requested, a poll on the clonking front suspension problem.

I didn't vote, but...

"Yes, new tyres cured problem
Yes, new strut top mounts cured problem"

...I changed the tyres at a same time when I installed the Sportivo. Sportivo doesn't replace the mounts, but I cleaned and regreased them while they were off the car. Cured the problem.

Can't be sure, but I assume it was the cleaning that solved it, not the new tyres.
