Hi all,

I'm planning to do a 2ZZ swap into my 2001 MK3 shortly.  The donor car is a 2003 Celica.  I've bought (but not yet collected) the engine, ecu and 6 speed box.  My question is - presumably the 2ZZ ECU is immobilised?  What is involved in getting it re-coded for my existing key - does it need a visit to a Toyota garage?

Thanks,

Mark

If I get the original key , whats the score then with getting the Celica ECU to work with my existing MR2 key?

Ah - simple...! Thanks Mark.

Does anyone know if there is a pinout diagram for the 2003 Celica ECU floating around - the one I have is for a non-immobilised ECU (at least, I assume it is as there are no immobiliser pins shown)...
