wheel balancing

hi guys/girls

does the wheel balancing not being correct cause any problems to ur car (except car shaking a little)??

i know this sounds a wierd question but i need mine doing but just havent got time in the next couple of weeks and just wanted to make sure it doesnt cause any real problems.

predominantly handling and feel issues. If you can live with any sideffects to the driving experience it shouldn't hurt anything.

Although short term, Mark is right, there can be issues with bearing wear cos of the uneven spinning of the wheel. If its short term, you should be OK, but I wouldn't leave it too long in case it wrecks the bearings (a la Tim, and he wasn't pleased about that......)
