Are your nuts tight?

Quick warning to all - Mark has just arrived at my place complaining that his car is making a clunking noise at low speed (ie just rolling) other than that the car seemed fine.

A quick check around the car revealed all but one of the wheel nuts had worked loose, and they had been fitted using an air-gun only days before.

I know the hand-book says you should check this sort of thing on a regular basis, but how many of us do?

Check before it's too late  s:( :( s:(

I do.

The bolts never seem to hold tight with alloy wheels...unless you over torque them.
Sure you can live without 500hp, but it\'s languishing.
