Hi All,

Here is some footage of one of the 2GRFE equipped MR2 Roadsters that will be racing at Anglesey this weekend in the MR2 Super GT series. The video was taken last Friday at Snetterton and is the first time the car has been driven in anger - it can't really be pushed on public roads due to the rate at which it exceeds the speed limits!

As you can see, the car is not yet complete - the flat underbody and front splitter need finishing and then the cars off to be resprayed and liveried. It should be finalised before next month's Brands Hatch meeting.

Looks and sounds fantastic. I'd love a roadster powered by a 2gr.
Certainly doesn't seem to hang around.   s:) :) s:)

It's a good engine in the metal too.

With Gouky's manifolds and Berk exhaust it's given a repeated output of 320bhp.

WTF was in the black and white mk2? Seemed to keep a steady lead.

What sort of power differences are there between the turbo mk2 ( orange and black) and the v6 roadster.

and finally how did Ro's 3SGTE fair? Shame Si's car couldn't make it out, im yet to see that thing moving.

Hi Patrick,

Good one so will you be releasing any stats and stuff on who had what power and stuff like that? the limit was 300 average right?

Also did you find my injectors by any chance?
