Can this be done without taking the bumper off? Pre Facelift models?

It can Rss but it is a complete PITA. I've done it a couple of times now and after the first I just take the bumper off now instead to save flesh and my temper!!!

I always take of the bumper as its a 20 minute job, just wondered if there was a way round it  s:) :) s:)
