Hi Guys,

I am new to the forum and am after a bit of advice, I am looking to replace the exhaust manifold on my 1ZZ.
Purely a preventative measure so my pre-cats don't cause any aggro in the future...
Now the studs that screw into the engine look in pretty bad shape, corroded, so before I embark on any removal I'd like to get new ones ready (just in case I have trouble)
Does anyone know what size thread / length these studs are?
Or has anyone had similar troubles with this type of maintenance?

Many thanks in advance.

Cheers uktotty,

I have got the gaskets already but need to get the studs soon.
I have checked out ebay, seems to be loads to choose from - so really need the thread size and stud length.
Does anyone know what size they are?

Cheers

Or Cheap Toyota Parts

They are only a couple of quid each - not worth the risk.

Part number (at least in the USA) is 90126-08037 "Stud Hex Lobular".
If your Porsche is not anhydrous, there IS a substitute.
