Tyres Again?

Been through the search......think I covered it all..still confused.

2001, prefacelift....been running 205/40/17 fronts
                                                215/40/17 rear on Toyos
On  the limit with what look like dry flaking to the fronts (car only covers about 8k miles a year.)

Sizing seems ok bearing in mid we don't drive to extreme, would like to stay with the Toyos, any advice/thoughts re sizes would be appreciated.

What sizes are your rims?
Cute & fluffy animals were definitely hurt during the production of this post, there're plenty more where they came from

I actually forgot but the BK alloys Website confirm 7.5" .
