Which is better all round, and which one has the better sound?

Have read that Apexi offers best filtration and a good deep sound?

I don't know much about the BMC.
Black 03 - Electro Luminescent Glow Dials - AEM Cold air Induction - Pioneer F900BT - HID (6000K) Xenon\'s - Red Leather - TRD Style Bar - Red Callipers, Front Rotordisc Brake Discs.

From what i've heard from others something like the BMC CDA is better due to the filter being enclosed/cased in... The PPE is a pretty top choice...

I LOVE my A'pexi purely for the sound, cant comment on the performance side of it, sounds good though  s:P :P s:P

Brad/Nathan/E would be better positioned to answer this as i believe they have all had both or similiar in Ian's case - K&N open filter thingy...
