Anyone know if the crank in the 1ZZ and 2ZZ is the same?

How could they be with different strokes?
Sure you can live without 500hp, but it\'s languishing.

Basically had big end bearing let go on a trackday at Bedford last week.

Crank not great and no 4 rod knackered.

Are the rods only available as a set? (I'll speak to CTP tomorrow, just wondering...)

Have a feeling an engine replacement is on the cards...

For completeness - rods are available individually

Out of curiosity, did you have any sort of oil supply modifications (Moroso pan, Accusump, dry sump system etc)?

None, but I'm considering some once this is sorted out... and adding oil pressure and temp gauges as well.
