I'm planning on taking the car off the road for a few weeks while the snow is here, does anyone know if I disconnect the battery will it affect my Dastek chip and will it need re-mapped afterwards?
I know it resets the ECU but not sure the ins and outs of how it affects them.

Thanks

No, disconnecting the battery will cause the ECU to loose its KAM but the map is stored in permiment memory and will be fine.  When you drive it again it may be a little off for the first 20 miles or so while the ECU re-learns but it will be fine after.
