Another vote for EBC yellows. You used to hear a lot of bad stuff about them, but I've found them to be fantastic. I think on heavier cars they can be scary from cold, but on the light MR2 they are great - better bite than stock from cold, and VERY bitey and fade free when hot. Mine have lasted 8k miles on grooved discs including 3 trackdays, and still have plenty of life left. Dust is no better or worse than stock pads IMO. I'm sure you can get better track pads (carbotechs etc) but for the money (~£100 all round) they're great.
